What is the active ingredient in Dormin that works so well?

Diphenhydramine is an antihistamine which blocks off the chemical histamine, inducing a sensation of drowsiness to assist in falling asleep.

How often should I use Dormin?

Dormin is intended to be used on the occasional sleepless night. Products containing antihistamines should be used at a maximum of two or three days successively. Speak with your doctor if sleeplessness lasts for more than three days. Insomnia may be a symptom of an underlying medical condition.

Ask your doctor before use if you have a breathing problem such as emphysema or chronic bronchitis, glaucoma, or trouble urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland. Do not drink alcohol if taking Dormin.
